The Academic Mining Education in Afghanistan programme (AMEA) is being implemented in close cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (TU Freiberg), Ruhr University Bochum as well as the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP). The project is located in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif and works closely with Kabul Polytechnic University, Kabul University, and Balkh University.
