For 35 years, in 100 countries, IntraHealth International has empowered health workers to better serve communities in need. IntraHealth fosters local solutions to health care challenges by improving health worker performance, strengthening health systems, harnessing technology, and leveraging partnerships.
As a global champion for health workers, IntraHealth International advocates for the role of the health worker as critical in saving lives and helping the world to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. We partner with governments, NGOs, the private sector, and other organizations to foster policies that empower health workers to better serve communities in need.
Health Sector Resiliency (HSR) Project is a five year project funded by USAID.  Futures Group is the prime implementer of the project, with 4 US based subcontractors (IntraHealth, FGGO, TLO, and Panagora), and another 3 national subcontractors (SADEC, Tadbeer, and Thinkwell).  The overall goal of the HSR Project is to support the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) to foster a strengthened, reformed, and increasingly self-reliant Afghan health system prepared for the decreased donor support anticipated over the coming decade.  The HSR Project acts as a resource and a catalyst to the MoPH and other GIRoA entities as it considers and implements critical sector-wide reforms that are required to make the system more resilient and sustainable.  The project primarily focuses on governance, domestic health finances and human resources for health, and engages both the public and private health sectors.
