SDO is a core partner of Tawanmandi programme in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, since 2014. SDO one of the leading organization in peacebuilding sector, believes that, peace without development and development without peace will not be possible and there won’t be lasting peace or sustainable development without respect of human right and rule of law. They are complement to each other. To have peaceful, free and developed Afghanistan, where its people sustain themselves with dignity and manage their own development.  We have to have peace, development, and respect for human right, and we have to address them at the same time.
Under Tawanmandi programme, SDO will develop strategy for Afghan CSOs on how to integrate peacebuilding into national development programme. Depending on the suggestion of consultant for this task, SDO would make the necessary arrangement. It would be feasible for SDO to bring together Civil Society actors, and some international organizations who are engaged in peacebuilding to understand their suggestion.
